PLEASE NOTE: Ages in the class description are guidelines. Prior experience is the most important factor in determining class placement. Also, some changes in the schedule may be needed, during the dance term. Classes with low enrollment may be canceled or postponed-- advance registration is important! BALLROOM & LATIN
Learn to dance! Prepare for a special event (weddings, social events, competitions, shows) or just learn how to have fun & feel more confident on the dance floor!
We hope to bring back group classes Summer 2022, on Tuesday evenings!
We offer classes for beginners through advanced-level ballroom dancers.
Taught by Lisa Cummings (Imari), artistic director of Imari in the Sahara Desert Dancers. Belly Dancing is therapeutic and energizing and is a great way to socialize.

Personal attention is the heart of this practice featuring a holistic approach to functional strength, mobility, and balance training with a focus on improved proprioception (the body's sense of positioning & tension). Taught by Nan Brett, dancer, ACE Certified Fitness Instructor, ACSM/ACS Certified Cancer Exercise Trainer, Reiki Master, SCW Certified Pilates instructor, Biomechanics MethodTM Corrective Exercise Specialist, Institute for Integrative Health & FitnessTM Certified Corrective Exercise Instructor, and the director of The Ballroom. PIYO-FITNESS WITH EMILY

A PIYO workout includes core work, flexibility and strength moves. Set up like a cardio class, the music and flow keep your mind busy and your heart rate up!

SOMATIC LIBERATION DANCE

These waves are designed by Keita A Whitten Foster to invite curiosity, play, joy, and exploration. Each wave begins slow and builds with vitality and tempo, ending with a cooldown phase. Keita also creates dance waves specific to BIOOC bodies of culture. Waves are Influenced by the Ancestors, shamanic world rituals for healing, street dance liberation, journey dance, ecstatic dance, 5 rhythms, and Keita’s experiences as a performance artist and experimental dancer. For everybody and every body! Zumba takes the "work" out of workout by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity dance and fitness moves. You'll go at your own pace in this fun interval-style dance-fitness class. Once the Latin and World rhythms take over you'll see why Zumba classes are called "Exercise in Disguise".
Classes are taught by Zumba instructors Rachel Bradley, Emily Baker & Allison Taber. Classes meet weekly Mondays 5:45-6:45 pm, Wednesdays and Saturdays 8:30-9:30 am.
