JASMINE RAND
Jasmine began dancing at the age of three, joined The Ballroom as a Kindergarten Ballet/Tap student, and continued dancing at The Ballroom studying Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Modern & Tap until her 2018 graduation. Jasmine has participated in annual Maine State Ballet Summer Workshops and has performed in numerous Maine State Ballet productions of the Nutcracker.
In addition to Jasmine’s many dance interests, she participated in drama, band, and chorus while a student in the Oxford Hills school system and had the distinct honor of earning her placement in the Maine Festival Choir when they performed at Carnegie Hall in 2016! Jasmine says that ever since she was a little girl she has always had a passion for anything to do with music and that dance of all styles and genres became her way to express herself.
Jasmine served as a Teacher’s Assistant at The Ballroom during her high school years and helped us out as a long term sub for Ballet during the 2018-2019 season. Jasmine joined The Ballroom's dance faculty in 2018 and is excited to share her love of dance and the joys of music & movement with her own young students.
