PLEASE NOTE: Ages in the class description are guidelines. Prior experience is the most important factor in determining class placement. Also, some changes in the schedule may be needed, during the dance term. Classes with low enrollment may be canceled or postponed-- advance registration is important! The Harrison Movement Collective envisions a world that is liberated through the body with movement and harmony of the soul where all are free to be their authentic selves within resilient community. Our mission and aim are to inspire authentic well-being through free-form dance by hosting dance waves for personal and community growth and transformation.

In-Person Dance Guidelines

Harrison Movement Collective offers a shared experience and a shared place for spontaneous, free-form movement. What each of us brings to this shared place affects everyone, and we create this experience together with:

Awareness of others and ourselves
Permission from others and ourselves

Participation through movement and presence

Space Holder creates a new music set for each week.

Group Core Fusion classes meet Tuesdays and Thursdays 9-10:20 am and Wednesdays 6-7:15 pm (September-June).

Personal attention is the heart of this practice featuring a holistic approach to functional strength, flexibility and balance training with a focus on the CORE. Taught by Nan Brett, dancer, ACE Certified Fitness Instructor, ACSM/ACS Certified Cancer Exercise Trainer, Reiki Master, SCW Certified Pilates instructor, Biomechanics MethodTM  Corrective Exercise Specialist, Institute for Integrative Health & FitnessTM Certified Corrective Exercise Instructor, and the director of The Ballroom. A PIYO workout includes core work, flexibility and strength moves. Set up like a cardio class, the music and flow keep your mind busy and your heart rate up!

A gentle, no-impact, mat class

Classes meet weekly Mondays 5:45-6:45 pm;

Wednesdays and Saturdays 8:30-9:30 am

For everybody and every body! Zumba takes the "work" out of workout by mixing low intensity and high intensity dance and fitness moves. You'll go at your own pace in this fun interval style dance-fitness class. Once the Latin and World rhythms take over you'll see why Zumba classes are call "Exercise in Disguise". Classes are taught by Zumba instructors Rachel Bradley, Erin Hamlin and Emily Baker. Classes meet weekly Mondays 5:45-6:45pm, Wednesdays and Saturdays 8:30-9:30am. Contact Erin via email

Join Early Childhood Educator, dancer & Zumba instructor, Allison Taber for our fun Summer Zumba Kids session! Our weekly summer classes start:

Thursday, July 9. 8:45-9:30 am, ages 3-6;

                            9:30-10:30am, ages 7-12

Classes for beginners as well as experienced yogis are taught by Rose Heggeman, BA, Holistic Health Coach and registered Yoga Alliance 200 hour teacher. Moderate Flow (focused on alignment, strength and mental focus) classes meet Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 10 am.
