After a number of years at The Ballroom as an enthusiastic dance mom, fitness buff, and dancer, Allison Taber joined us for her first year as a member of our dance faculty teaching Creative Movement classes for Dance 2020-2021. An early childhood educator, Allison has a degree in Early Childhood Education and has worked with young children for more than 20 years. While working with children, Allison has consistently incorporated music, dancing & creative movement into her curriculum as she finds it to be such a wonderful way for children to express themselves. Allison says that dancing and music have always been uplifting outlets for her. She has participated in Zumba for 10 years and is now a Certified Zumba instructor (adults) as well as a Certified Zumba Kids instructor. In addition, Allison has added a 200-hour yoga teacher training to her teaching credentials and now is happily leading yoga classes Allison has participated in many classes at The Ballroom over the years including Zumba, yoga, tap & fitness classes, and is excited to be joining The Ballroom in a teaching role where she can continue to manifest her passion for teaching children while also sharing her love of music & expression with our community. We are excited to have her with us!
