Erin Hamlin joined The Ballroom faculty in 2007 teaching Ballet, Jazz and Modern. Erin was first introduced to the world of dance as a child and danced as a teen with the Full FX competition dance team at the Studio For the Living Arts in Gray, ME. Erin continued her dance training at Manhattanville College in Purchase, NY where she received her BA and extensive training in Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Voice, Acting and Choreography. Erin studied with the Varone Dance Company and at the Broadway Dance Center in NYC before returning to Maine in 2005 to teach English at OHCHS.

A talented singer as well as a dancer, Erin has choreographed and performed in local theatrical productions (including OHMPAA) and was a professional member of Debi Iron's Art Moves Dance Project from 2005 to 2013. In 2014 Erin branched out in to the dance fitness realm by earning her Zumba instructor certification. To allow more time with her three children, Erin has taken a break from the dance faculty. Happily, though, Erin continues to share her enthusiasm for dance/fitness as a Zumba instructor at The Ballroom with classes for children and adults!
